I’m not a member on ning anymore but I still check the site from time to time. I guess I can stay in contact with you this way I haven’t been in chat too much, I’m in a funk.

It was very interesting what you wrote in this blog and that is exactly the reason why I hate labels so much. You stick one on a person and expect them to hehave that way. How can one grow beyond that?

It’s like invisible boundaries are placed around you when you are growing up and it is so difficult to develop past them. All through my childhood I heard that I was “just” a girl and wasn’t ever going to be successful. Guess what? It’s my brother that ended up living at home till he was almost 40, not me.

I am finally at the point where I recongnize the real me. I surprised a lot of people, most of all myself.

I hope you had a wonderful holiday season and everyone got “past” the labels.
